Loon’s Nest is a seasonal cabin on the shores of Upper Buckatabon. You will love hearing the loons from this three- bedroom, 1 ½ bath cabin. Includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with outdoor charcoal grill and picnic area. You are steps away from your dock to enjoy the summer breeze.

Loon’s Haven is close to the lake! Our Krull’s Deer Path family resort has a playground, sandy swim beach, outdoor fire rings and picnic areas.

It’s a fishing resort! Bring the Shorelunch for a fire pit fish fry! Panfish (Abundant), Largemouth Bass (Common), Northern Pike (Common), Walleye (Common), Smallmouth Bass (Present) – Bring the musky gear, Musky are considered Common too.

Krull’s Deer Path Resort offers 11 completely furnished, clean, comfortable cabins all nestled in 17 wooded acres!

Things To Do

Krull’s Deer Path Resort is fortunate to be on the peaceful shores of 493 acre Upper Buckatabon Lake, but you also have channel access to Lower Buckatabon Lake – another 378 acre water park. All cabin paths lead to the resort docks where the boats are lined up for fishing, tubing, skiing and cruising.

Nearby, the Northwoods Zip Line, Aerial Trek, Argo ATV and Kayak River Tours are popular with vacationers. Runners come from all over the midwest for the Journeys Marathon and shoppers flood in to browse during the Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show in Eagle River.

For some off-the-water high-speed, outdoor excitement you have to check out the ATV/UTV and snowmobile designated trails. Up here, visiting Eagle River, Conover and Phelps is not limited to cars and boats – now Eastern Vilas County has ATV/UTV routes. The snowmobile trail comes directly through our Deer Path Resort! Hundreds of miles of well groomed trails keeps our guests outside all day

A day trip to Bond Falls – a scenic and popular waterfall on the Ontonagon river is worth the short trip to Upper Michigan. Stop in Land O’ Lakes to see one of Vilas Counties hidden treasures!

Policy:

A $300 deposit is required for reserving your weekly rental and $150 for nightly rentals.

5.5% sales tax is not included with the rates above.

All rates are for up to 4 people except for Birch View which is 6.
    1.) Cancellation made more than 60 days prior to arrival date will receive full refund.

Additional people will be charged $20 per night to a maximum of $100 per week per person, children under 5 are free.

One 14’ fishing boat at dock space OR a dock space for private boat included with rental. Additional boat and dock space available for $25 per week/$5 per day. Paddle boat, kayaks, and canoe available for use at no additional charge.

Pontoon Boat available for daily rental of $150 or $800 per week.
Additional charge for gas and oil will apply.

Firewood for outdoor and indoor fires available for fee.

What is supplied with your rental: Weber grill, bed linens, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, coffee filters, fully stocked kitchen

Extra charges will be applied for damages and if extra cleaning is needed.

Cancellation policy: Refund if deposit will be made under the following conditions:

Cancellation made more than 60 days prior to arrival date will receive full refund. If less than 60 days, cabin must be re-rented for an equal amount of time or more in order to receive a full refund.
