Fisherman’s Dock

Fisherman’s Dock is the perfect cabin to share your fishing stories. This year-round cabin features a large open concept. Two bedrooms with futon in living area, two baths and a fully equipped kitchen. You will find an outdoor picnic area with charcoal grill and a large lawn area that will lead you down to the lake.

Fisherman’s Dock cabin at Krull’s Deer Path Resort is a four-person vacation rental in the traditional Wisconsin Northwoods style — a simple, peaked roof, a stone fireplace and natural wood construction — on a small patch of green grass near the packed dirt camp road.

This rustic Northwoods haven is an ideal family getaway with two bedrooms and one bath near Upper Buckatabon Lake. The cabin is settled in the shade between the tall pines and offers views of the water from the windows on one side.

Fisherman’s Dock has an open floor plan for the main living area, which includes a fully equipped, modern kitchen with plenty of counter space for food prep or laying out buffet-style lunch. The living room has a large TV, a brick fireplace and cozy reading chairs.

Sleeping arrangements: Two bedrooms at Fisherman’s Dock are furnished with a queen-sized bed in one and two twin-sized beds in the other.

Unique Features

Cabin rentals at Krull’s Deer Path Resort include the complimentary use of a 14-foot fishing boat and exclusive dock space. Additional boats are available at a rate of $5.00 for the day or $25 for the week. Paddle boats, kayaks and canoes are available for guest use free of charge.

Firewood for both indoor fireplaces and outdoor fire pits are provided by the resort. We also supply Weber grills, bed linens, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper and coffee filters.

Guest will need to bring their own charcoal, paper towels, kitchen towels, bath towels and beach towels.

Things To Do

Krull’s Deer Path Resort is located not far from downtown Conover, where you can explore local shops, diners and watering holes. Take to the paths that surround this scenic vacation spot on bikes in warmer weather for a day trip into town for ice cream at a picturesque old-fashioned venue.

One favorite eating spot is the historic Burnt Bridge Tavern. This storied establishment is known for great food, strong drinks and rustic charm — not to mention the “Wild Animal Floor Show.” The area’s nature trails are open to snowmobiles in winter for a true Northwoods experience.

In the fall, the region is a great place for winding, scenic drives and locally-sourced cranberry products. Of course, the resort also enjoys access to Upper Buckatabon Lake, which is great for swimming, boating, and pulling in bass, walleye, panfish, musky and northern pike.
