Eagle’s Nest

Eagles Nest has one of the best views of Upper Buckatabon. This upper unit has 2 large bedrooms, 1 ½ baths and large outdoor patio to watch for the soaring eagles. The living area has extra sleeping with a pull-out couch. This cabin is open all year round featuring a wood burning fireplace and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. A charcoal grill and large parking area with sidewalk down to the lake for our guests. Easy access to unload your snowmobiles or atv’s to hit the trails.

What do you get when you combine an Upper Buckatabon Lake cabin, a 14’ fishing boat, a dock slip, a paddle boat, kayaks, and canoe? An inclusive Up North lake vacation you’ll never forget! We take great pride in our home-away-from-home comforts & amenities with relaxing furnishings and breathtaking resort views. Many family vacation traditions include our Eagle’s Nest cabin

Guests can nest here year round because we believe the Northwoods is for all four seasons. Once you take a nature journey through hundreds of acres of glistening winter landscapes on cross country skis or snowshoes, you’ll understand there is something magical about it. If you like to snowmobile, you already know the Eagle River area is the Snowmobile Capital of the World.

Lots of cabin extras are included like a Weber grill, bed linens, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper and coffee filters.

Unique Features

Krull’s Deer Path Resort has 11 cabin rentals, so if your family getaway turns into a family reunion in “Northwoods Country” you can rent neighboring cabins.

Chances are some of your friends or family will want to use the extensive trail systems in the Northwoods. Locals TIP: The Spectacle Lake-Kentuck Lake Trail offers 2.5 miles of flat land good for all ages. The more extensive Snipe Lake and Ewald Lake trail systems will challenge experienced hikers.

Things To Do

Our lakefront resort is nestled amidst the natural beauty of our lakes and forests. Upper Buckatabon Lake is 493 acres and Lower Buckatabon Lake is 378 acres. Our northern Wisconsin resort is parked right between them on Upper Buckatabon Lake – that’s a lot of clear water and fishing shoreline right out your front door. “Upper” is prime musky waters and has a public boat landing! These lakes produce year round crappies, bluegills and walleye – quite active and fun lakes to fish. Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike can be boated too.

We encourage you to wander off the beaten path and really enjoy the fresh air, peacefulness, and abundant wildlife. Go geocaching, this real-world outdoor treasure hunt. In addition to suning & swimming at our wonderful resort beach, you can hunt for other area beaches: Hunter Lake Park & Swim Area and Torch Lake Park & Swim Area both offer boating and fishing opportunities too.

Things to remember: Charcoal, paper towels, bath and beach towels, kitchen towels, etc.
